Ross (Netaji Subhas Ch Bose ) Island was a convict settlement that was established in 1858 in the remote Andaman Islands by the British colonial government in India, primarily to jail a large number of prisoners from the Indian Rebellion of 1857, also known as the Indian Mutiny. With the establishment of the penal colony at Ross Island, the British administration made it the administrative headquarters for the entire group of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and built bungalows and other facilities on the site. This colony was meant as "manageable models of colonial governance and rehabilitation". The Chief Commissioner's residence was located at the highest point on the island. Over time, several other islands including Chatham and Viper were used for the penal colony. The penal colony became infamous as "Kalapani" or "black water" for the brutalities inflicted by the British authorities on the political prisoners from India, and most of whom had died by 1860 due to illness and torture suffered during the initial stages of the clearance of the forest to establish the colony. In later years the colony experimented for a short time with civilizing the indigenous people of Andamans. The penal colony was used as an experimental station for various methods of torture and medical tests. During World War II, the island was invaded by the Japanese army, forcing the British to evacuate. The administrative buildings were destroyed but the penal colony remained. After the Allied forces reoccupied the island the penal colony was disbanded on 7 October 1945.

Early morning departure FERRY from port Blair-Havelock. Havelock. on arrival proceed to Kalapather beach after competed will drop you selected hotel and in the afternoon proceed to Beach no 7* (Radhanagar Beach) rated as the 'BEST BEACH IN THE ASIA' by the Time Magazine (AC CAR/JEEP Will Be Provided for Pickups and Drop, Time Spent 2-3 hours). Return back to hotel to relax and unwind. (Kindly remind hotel to provide packed breakfast at port Blair since the same is not included at Havelock

Early morning departure after breakfast that processed FERRY from Havelock to Neil Island on arrival representative will attend you and drop you hotel after that we cover, and Bharatpur Beach. The closest white sand beach to Neil dock, Bharatpur beach. The reef here is still unexplored and travelers can avail snorkeling, glass bottom boats rides and Jet Ski rides here. Then, visit to Sitapur beach for perfect sunset view and after that will drop you hotel to relax for the day with wonderful memory back in your camera

After breakfast check out hotel move back to jetty our representative attends you and helps you board a ferry back to port Blair on arrival our representative will be waiting at the exit of the jetty. Then proceed to selected hotel and rest.

• Early 4.am Morning Baratang on road With Jarawa Forest Baratang is famous for its natural wonders; from impressive Limestone Caves and dense mangrove creeks. There are tidal swamp forests and small but fascinating Mud Volcanoes. It is the first gateway up north from the capital city, located between the Middle and South of Andaman. After reaching Baratang, one has to hire a speedboat for the caves. Takes around 20-25 minutes to reach the jetty amidst mangroves where one disembarks. Thereafter there is a fascinating walk amidst mangroves and later along the forest for about 1.5 kilometres to reach the caves.
